At PLS, I swiftly transitioned into a Product Management role, where I led the overhaul of the company’s iOS and Android apps in just three months. I conducted deep user research, identifying a critical missing persona—dispatchers—that had been overlooked in the previous beta. Despite tight constraints, I secured executive buy-in for a contract revision to include essential features and coordinated efforts across multiple teams and vendors. Alongside managing four other products, I drove the project to a successful launch, ensuring a more user-centric and effective app experience.
I also led design, requirements, QA and development across 6 scrum teams and products.
Android Driver/Dispatcher App
Dispatcher loads screen, which shows assigned and unassigned loads to help them manage their drivers.
Main menu, has icon/text associations to the major features.
Drivers and Dispatchers can upload paperwork for faster payment.
Load Board Search screen allows dispatchers and drivers to find loads to fill in their driver's schedules.
Load details allows driver and dispatcher to see location details and to update status or send manual location updates.
Within the load board, drivers and dispatchers have the option to select a flat rate or call the office to negotiate.
iOS Customer App
This summary view shows customers basics of pick and drop off locations for each load, with filtering and search capabilities.
The load detail view shows users a map of the current location of their load, which can be expanded full screen for more detail.
Customers can scroll through various details of their loads.
Simple reports for Load Counts, On-Time Percentages and Cost are vital for customers
Customers can view paperwork images uploaded by drivers and dispatchers.
