Lead responsible for user experiences across 4 financial and economic marketing applications and 2 marketing websites.

Application Design Responsibilities

Leads user experience in creating UI designs and non-UI interactions with internal and external users. All products display visualizations of financial and economic data around a client’s current and potential customers.

• Creates wireframe prototypes using Balsamiq, and new visuals using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Conducts user testing on interactions and interfaces using focus groups, customer interviews and testing
• Monitors metrics on application usage to ensure and improve customer engagement and pinpoint issues

Marketing Site Responsibilities

Manages 2 websites that promote SAAS products and monitors improvement of trial and purchase conversions.

• Creates content and imagery for marketing sites, manages cadence, development and releases
• Manages SEO, marketing, and development resources to increase traffic and conversions
• Conducts user and A/B split testing on marketing content, sign up and setup interactions

Product Owner Responsibilities

From an Agile role perspective, I act as the product owner of these applications

• Guides direction of products, prioritization of features while representing the voice customer on the team
• Manages requirements gathering process, prioritization exercises, brainstorming and grooming/estimation
• Manages task allocation for 6-8 developers and 2 QA resources on a Sprint-by-Sprint basis

Lead responsible for designing experiences across domains.  Documents UX tasks and deliverables as well as manages UX budgets and estimates. Involved in the sales for solutions, strategy, estimating, RFP responses and pitch presentations.

Responsive Business Growth

Introduced organization to responsive design, educated multiple disciplines, which lead to 4 new contracts.

• Designed concept designs for company’s first responsive projects

Lead User Experience Designer for sophisticated data visualization portal for displaying security data and threats.

• On the leadership team of a year long agile development project working closely with all disciplines
• Conducted initial stakeholder and customer research, strategy, concept designs and implementation roadmap
• Also involved in future release planning, mobile and tablet rollout strategy & concept design

Graduate Management Admissions Council / Admissions Search Service Application

Lead User Experience Designer for search application for admissions to find prospective graduate students.

• Conducted stakeholder research and focus groups with users to determine high priority improvements
• Revamped information architecture and process flows for a more streamlined experience
• Designed search interface that selects compounding demographics, shows counts, and pricing

Responsible for promoting user needs on projects, creating wireframes and visuals using Visio and Photoshop.

• Designed a web site management tool, and chief designer on a judge and expert witness profiling application
• Conducted research, created sitemaps, and user interface/functionality design for two web applications
